The GE TRANQUELL surge arresters work to improve the performance and reliability of today’s electric power systems. From the first metal oxide arrester introduced in 1976, to the latest range of Polymer/Porcelain Station & Intermediate Class IEEE/ANSI C62.11 surge arresters, FLEX-CORE® offers a wide range of solutions for distribution and EHV, up to 612kV, applications.

GE’s high voltage capacitors provide simple and reliable reactive power to improve system performance, quality and efficiency and include internally fused, externally fused and fuseless capacitors available in ratings of 25 to 1,100 kVAR for single-phase units, and 300 to 400 kVAR for three-phase units at 2.4 kV to 25 kV. The units can be designed to meet IEC 60871, IEEE 18 and CSA C22.2 sta dards.
